This scent would make a lovely gift for a friend, or for yourself, paired with a waterless diffuser. It presents well and comes with a dropper for easy use. The cap has an additional stopper inside to further reduce leakage. Upon initial opening, I get a light, sugary impression. It almost smells like cotton candy. The oil opens up to give a soft, warmth that is flowery/sugary and nicely light. The value is there at $10 for this small vial, and I love the smaller quantities that allow for a variety of scents to keep things interesting in my home. This does not overpower the senses, but gives just a sweet and tantalizing hint of scent.

Pleasant Delicate Calming Aroma

The Malibu No.1003 Scent Diffuser Oil Refill arrived in perfect order and very fast. We appreciated its aroma, which is mildly sweet and not acid. My wife has had migraine in the past years, having tried multiple medications and other complementary measures, including humidifiers as dry air and low levels of body hydration contribute to triggering them. Because of that, she has a diffuser on the nightstand next to her side of our bed. The mist produced by the diffuser, in combination with a soft aroma serves well the purpose of humidifying the room while leaving a delicate nice and calming scent on the air. The Malibu scent oil delivers very well on that promise. We liked the delicate finishing of the small container and the provided dropper that eases the dispensing the oil into the diffuser. Both of them lend a touch of sophistication to the product and were much welcome.

Sandalwood Baby Powder?

Great packaging but what does the product smell like? It definitely doesn’t smell like sandalwood if you’re used to the essential oil sandalwood scent. Rather, imagine what sandalwood scented baby powder and that’s what this is. It’s not bad, it may not be for some, it works for me but not what I wanted/expected.

For the most part, I like this diffuser oil. The oil itself smells great—a fresh scent with hints of citrus and spice. And it penetrates the air well, infusing all over my house from one small diffuser that I keep in the utility room to hide the cat box odors. And believe me, it does hide those odors very well. I got the 5 ounce bottle and it will fill my diffuser about six times, making the oil about equal to the plug in units that come already filled. My only problem is that the oil comes in a bottle with a nice wide top. My diffuser has a tiny opening for the oil. I finally found a very small funnel meant for perfume to use to transfer the oil. That worked well, but a dropper included with the oil would have been nice, too. Otherwise, this is a very nice diffuser oil.

SCENTHORIZON Sandalwood No.1021, 15ml, Luxury Home Scent Fragrance Oil for Diffuser is excellent. The scent is musky, powdery, soft, floral undertones, and warm. I put a couple drops in my cold air humidifier and it diffuses nicely. I've also put it in my air purifier essential oil compartment and its great. Most candles are no longer safe in my home because of kids and cats. So this is a great alternative. Just a couple drops goes a long way. I get nose blind to it after a while but when I walk into my house, its a refreshing scent. The bottle has a small lid that you can shake out a couple drops without spilling it. It has a dropper too but its hard to use as the lid isn't easily removed so using the dropped is a challenge. Overall its a great product.

The oil itself performs well and smells nice, but I would feel more confident if the brand provided transparent documentation to support those safety statements. I have tried so many diffuser oils in the past couple of years! I will say I have been very disappointed in the main majority of them! But this brand is AMAZING!! I put mine in my big HAVAC system, which I have not hooked it up to my furnace yet. The sent projection is AMAZING!! I feel this brand is best used in waterless diffusers! It has such a beautiful citrus but clean scent! It also has a strong scent! Where you will definitely want to turn your machine down, which will save on the oil to make it last a lot longer! It’s very easy to use! Beautifully packaged! This WILL make your home smell amazing! I’m extremely impressed with this company! I will continue ordering from them also! Tip: Less is More - Start with One Drop in Diffuser

This diffuser scent oil smells good, but can be very overwhelming if too much is used.I have an ultrasonic diffuser. Because there were no use instructions included with the product, I put 4 drops of the oil in it as I do with essential oil. Unfortunately, this was a mistake. The resulting diffused fragrance was OVERWHELMING, and neither my husband nor I liked it. Our home smelled like we had a guest in the house wearing way too much sandalwood based cologne. Even the next morning, after having the diffuser off all night, the house had an overly strong smell from the diffuser still lingering from the prior evening. The scent was so strong that I turned on my range hood vent fan and the exhaust fan in the bathroom to try to evacuate the fragrance before guests arrived at noon. Even after running two exhaust fans for two hours, the fragrance was still noticeably strong. For this reason I was initially very disappointed. I had hoped this diffuser oil would indeed smell very nice like the lobby of a high-end hotel instead of like overwhelming cologne. I considered throwing the oil away or putting it in my donate box. However, this morning is the second morning after our initial use of the diffuser oil. The fragrance in the house is finally much milder and very pleasant. This gave me the idea give the fragrance oil a second chance, except this time I would use significantly less oil. For my first try to reduce the dilution, I poured half of the liquid out of my diffuser into a glass jar. I then topped up the water in my diffuser. I then tried running the ultrasonic diffuser again. This made an improvement, but the fragrance was still too strong. I again poured off half of the diffuser’s water mixture into the jar and again topped up the diffuser, so that I probably have about 1/4 to 1/5 the amount of oil to water ratio as I did on the first evening. Now the diffuser smells wonderful. Next time I refill the diffuser, I will only put a single small drop of the oil into diffusers full capacity of 200 mL of water. If I find that one drop too weak, I can always add a another drop. It will be much easier to slowly build up to the right fragrance concentration rather than trying to subtract water mixture if too much fragrance is too strong.I also wanted to note that the packaging is very attractive and this could make a nice gift for someone who enjoys home fragrance. I’ve included a photo of the packaging along with my diffuser and the jar with the quantity of water I removed to adequately reduce the the dilution ratio.I am rating this at four of five stars because no directions with guidance as to how much oil should be used were included with the scent oil. Had I known the correct dilution ratio at the outset, I wouldn’t have had to air my house out for an entire day, and I would’ve rated the product at 5/5 stars.

Pleasant, Complex Lavender Aroma That Goes a Long Way

I ordered this lavender blend oil to use with a small volcanic stone diffuser for a home office or bedside table. Lavender is one of my favorite scents, and the presentation of this bottle was especially appealing. It comes with a dropper, but the bottle itself also has a dispenser top, which I’ve been using to add just a few drops at a time.I was pleasantly surprised by how strong the scent is, even with only a little on the basaltic stone. Although I envisioned the oil and diffuser for a small room, we first tried it in the larger living room, and it filled the space quickly with a noticeable aroma. This blend is more lively and complex than a single-note scent, and I really enjoy it. A little goes a long way, creating a strong, pleasant smell without the need for an electric diffuser.

Lovely scent profile

I have been using my diffuser more and trying to add to my essential oil collection. I did not have a sandalwood so when I came across this essential oil I thought it would be a good choice to try. The bottle may only have .5 Fl oz but with this essential oil a little goes a long way. I only put a few drops in and the scent was strong but not overwhelming. It filled the house nicely and lasted quite a while. The bottle is easy to use and you can use the included dropper as well. It was packed up nicely and protected which I appreciate. The bottle is a pretty blue that has a nice weight to it. It also has a twist off cap for easy access with a plastic stopper to help avoid spills. The sandalwood scent is nice and not too strong or overpowering. I also usually have trouble with any scents that have any hint of patchouli but the flavor notes blend well and I was pleasantly surprised. I only add a few drops and that was more than enough. I have also not noticed any issues with my diffuser since I started using this essential oil. Overall in my opinion this essential oil is not a bad value at all.

Mild Scent That Falls Short in a Diffuser

I got the Scenthorizon Lavender No.1011 diffuser oil expecting a strong, soothing lavender aroma, but unfortunately, it was very faint when used in my ultrasonic diffuser. Even after running the diffuser for a while, the scent was barely noticeable, which was disappointing for a product marketed as a premium fragrance oil. This oil might work better when used in a roller with a carrier oil or in other crafting applications where the scent can be more concentrated. The quality of the oil itself seems fine, but it just doesn’t disperse strongly enough in a standard diffuser for someone looking for a noticeable lavender aroma. Overall, I would give this product 3 stars. It’s usable, but it doesn’t perform as expected in a diffuser and might be better suited for other uses.

Pleasant Sandalwood Scent, Just Lighter and Shorter-Lasting Than Expected

This is a nice sandalwood scent overall, but it was a little different from what was expected based on other sandalwood products used in the past. The smell leans slightly lighter and less warm than a traditional deep sandalwood, which is not bad, just different. It still creates a pleasant, clean atmosphere and works well in both ultrasonic and waterless diffusers. The main downside is that the scent does not seem to last as long as some other diffuser oils, especially in larger rooms. That said, it is still enjoyable while it is going, and the quality feels good for the price. A solid option if you like a softer sandalwood profile, but those looking for a stronger, longer lasting scent may want to reapply a bit more often.

Works Well!

The mixture is unusual, but refreshing. It reminds me more of cologne than essential oils though. The bottle comes with a separate eye dropper. However, you need to somehow pry off the difficult-to-remove seal in order to actually fit the eye dropper down in the bottle. It's strange that it just doesn't come with the eye dropper attached to the screw top and already positioned in the bottle itself. After attempting to remove the seal for a while, I just decided to throw away the eye dropper as you don't really need it and it's not worth the trouble anyway. Just unscrew the bottle lid, undo the tiny rubber stopper top to reveal the small hole, turn it upside down, and tap the bottle. The drops come out more like a tiny bit of mist rather than actual drops. It doesn't take much though! I use the oil in a diffuser with water and it seems to work well!

Pleasant Vanilla Scent for Diffusers .

This is a nice vanilla scent for a diffuser. It comes with a dropper, though you might not need it, as the bottle has a plastic insert under the main lid with a tab that allows you to easily dispense the scent. I used it in a water-based ultrasonic diffuser and added 4 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water, which was enough to spread the fragrance throughout my large living area. The scent is subtle and not exactly like the vanilla extract you get from the store, it is more like about 70% similar. I am not sure what makes up the rest of the scent, but overall it feels pleasant. When you enter the space where the diffuser is running, it gives you the feeling that you’re baking a cake because of its sweet vanilla aroma. The price of around $10 feels reasonable. One minor thing I noticed is that the scent oil is slightly yellowish in color and can leave a light yellow mark in the diffuser, but this goes away when you clean it properly. Smells soooo good!!

I’m not sure exactly what this smells like, but it smells really good. This essential oil comes in a glass bottle which is appreciated. It had a regular screw top on it. However, it also came with a glass dropper. I like using the glass droppers because I use this essential oil in my diffuser. I have a manual diffuser with a brass bowl and a candle underneath. I add water to the breast bowl and a few drops of this essential oil and it is extremely fragrant. My house smells so good. It is just this Rich and inviting scent. As I mentioned, I can’t really describe it, but I do know that I love it! This feels like a really nice quality essential oil. The value for the money is very reasonable. And because it does have a really concentrated scent, using a few drops in my diffuser will make this last a really long time. Overall, I will definitely buy this again as I’m happy with this item!
